At Strand English Academy, the safety, wellbeing, and dignity of every learner is our highest priority.

We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and professionally accountable learning environment, underpinned by safeguarding practices aligned with UK and international standards.

• Place safeguarding and child protection at the centre of all provision, informed by recognised best practice and school-based expectations.
   
• Operate with clear professional boundaries in all online and in-person interactions.
   
• Deliver tuition and consultancy through secure, appropriate platforms and agreed communication channels.
   
• Uphold a culture of respect, inclusion, and zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment, or harm of any kind.
   
• Recognise and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns, including those relating to SEND, wellbeing, and vulnerability.
   
• Work transparently and responsibly with parents, carers, and schools where safeguarding matters arise.
   

• All teaching and consultancy services are delivered by a senior educator holding a valid Enhanced DBS (UK) check.
   
• Where required for international provision, an International Police Check (IPC) or equivalent good conduct certification is maintained.
   
• Safeguarding practice is informed by senior leadership and SEND expertise, ensuring risk is managed proactively rather than reactively.
